Quote(“앱”)는 책의 문장을 기록·보관하는 서비스입니다. 본 방침은 앱이 어떤 정보를 어떻게 다루는지 설명합니다. Quote는 Tealdot(tealdot.dev)이 운영합니다.

1. 수집하는 정보

이메일 주소 — 로그인(매직 링크 / 인증 코드) 시, 또는 웹사이트 문의 폼 제출 시
사용자가 입력·저장한 콘텐츠 — 문장, 메모, 책 제목·저자, 페이지 등
사진 — OCR(문자 인식)을 위해 카메라/앨범에서 선택한 이미지. “원본 이미지 보관”을 켠 경우에만 클라우드에 업로드될 수 있습니다.
기기 로컬 데이터 — 오프라인 사용을 위한 기기 내 저장(IndexedDB 등)

2. 이용 목적

계정 인증 및 기기 간 동기화
문장 기록·검색·서재 관리
책 표지 자동 매칭(외부 도서 API 조회)
앱 기능 제공 및 오류 대응

3. 제3자 제공 / 처리 위탁

Supabase — 인증, 데이터베이스, (선택) 이미지 저장
도서 표지 검색 — Google Books 및(설정된 경우) Kakao / Naver 도서 API. 검색에 필요한 제목·저자 문자열이 전달될 수 있습니다.

광고 네트워크·추적 SDK는 사용하지 않습니다. 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다.

4. 보관 및 삭제

로그인하지 않은 데이터는 기기에만 저장됩니다.
로그인한 데이터는 계정과 연결되어 클라우드에 동기화될 수 있습니다.
앱 설정에서 계정 삭제를 요청하면, 계정·동기화된 기록·관련 클라우드 이미지가 삭제됩니다. 기기 로컬 데이터도 함께 초기화됩니다.

Quote (“the App”) helps you capture and keep lines from books. This policy explains what information we handle. Quote is operated by Tealdot (tealdot.dev).

1. Information we collect

Email address — when you sign in (magic link / verification code), or when you submit the website contact form
User content — quotes, notes, book titles/authors, page numbers, etc.
Photos — images you capture or pick for OCR. Cloud upload happens only if “Keep original photos” is enabled.
On-device data — local storage for offline use

2. How we use it

Authentication and sync across devices
Saving, browsing, and organizing quotes
Automatic book-cover matching via third-party book APIs
Providing core app features and troubleshooting

3. Third parties

Supabase — auth, database, and optional image storage
Book cover lookup — Google Books and (if configured) Kakao / Naver book APIs; title/author strings may be sent for lookup

We do not use advertising or tracking SDKs. We do not sell personal information.

4. Retention & deletion

Data created while signed out stays on the device.
Signed-in data may sync to the cloud and is linked to your account.
Use Delete account in Settings to remove your account, synced records, related cloud images, and wipe local app data.
